2017 Proposed Bond Warrant Articles


The Select Board will hold Public Hearings pursuant to NH RSA 33:8-a,I on Saturday, January 21, 2017 commencing at 9:00 a.m. at the Rollinsford Grade School Gymnasium, Locust Street, Rollinsford, in order to receive public comments on the following proposed bond issues:

1. A bond issue in the approximate amount of $450,000 to purchase a new fire engine.

2. A bond issue in the approximate amount of $385,000 to finance culvert repairs. 

3. A bond issue in the approximate amount of $190,000 for repairs and improvements to the transfer station




June 7, 2015 Rollinsford Town Hall 7:00p.m.

Public Hearing at 7PM to take Public Comment on a Subdivision Application submitted by Jason Lavoie involving property at Tax Map 1, Lot 16 located at 110 Rollins Road in Rollinsford NH. This Application involves creating 2 Lots off of the 5.27-acre parcel. The new lot will have frontage on Shady Lane (a Class 6 Road) with access to the parcel over the pre-existing lot fronting Rollins Road.

Preliminary Review of a proposed Doggie Daycare at 195 Goodwin Road by Lewis Janetos.


– Discussion on a request by Paul’s Integrity Automotive to remove the requirement for a fence from the east side of the property along Church Street from the approved Site Plan.
– Change in Planting associated the Scout Land Subdivision adjacent to the Wentworth House
– Discussion of Driveway Culverts as requested by the Select Board.
– Google Drive/E-mail Address for the Planning Board
– Approval of Minutes
– Other Business


Next regular meeting is July 5th, 2015 at Rollinsford Town Hall.

Planning Board Public Hearings

The Planning Board will meet on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Town Hall at 7PM.

Public Hearing at 7PM to take Public Comment on a Home Business Application submitted by Shalla and Sean Melton involving Lot 11-1 Tax Map 20, located at 624 Silver Street in Rollinsford NH. The applicants are proposing a Photography Studio to be operated in an addition to the rear of the current home.

Public Hearing at 7:30 PM to take Public Comment on a Lot Line Adjustment submitted by Vincent and Kathleen Colella of 50 Old Mill Lane in Rollinsford NH.  The application consists of the relocation of the lot line between Tax Map 7 Lots 14 and 15. The proposal would transfer 24.7 acres from Lot 15 to Lot 14. The transfer would increase Lot 14 from 6.5 acres to 31.3 acres and increase Lot 15 from 43.7 acres to 18.9 acres. No additional building lots will be created with this application.

Public Hearing at 8:00 PM to take Public Comment on amendments to the Rollinsford Site Plan Regulations and the Rollinsford Sub-Division Regulations to Comply with the National Flood Insurance Program. Theses updates have been mandated by the state so people in flood prone areas may get flood insurance.

Preliminary Review of a proposed sub-division of a 5.2 acre parcel off of Shady Lane proposed by Jason Lavoie.

Public Hearing: Budget 2/6

The Budget Committee is presenting their town proposed budget at the public hearing on Saturday, February 6, 9:00 (Rollinsford Grade School Gym).


Here is the Budget Committee’s recommended detailed budget.   (The Select Board does not recommend).  The Budget Committee budget will be deliberated by the Budget Committee after the public hearing.

Petition Warrant Articles: SB2 and Tax Cap
The town has received two petition warrant articles for inclusion on the 2016 town warrant. Both require the Select Board to hold a public hearing.
We will first hear the SB2 warrant article (9:00 am) and will then open the hearing on the tax cap warrant article. The tax cap hearing will follow the SB2 hearing but will start no earlier than 9:30 am.
