Firefighters Complete Training

The Select Board would like to congratulate the fire department volunteers that recently completed training.

Firefighters Joey Isabel, Spencer Barnes and Kayla Reno have completed Firefighter II training. Every member of the department is required to earn Firefighter I training. Some members opt to complete the advanced training of the Firefighter II class, which covers more challenging and complex topics. This training represents more than 60 instructional and practical hours.

Firefighters Tanner Hoffman, Spencer Barnes, Sean Cooper, Ben Hyman, Joey Isabel, and Alan St. Onge have achieved Proboard State Certification as Certified Pump/Driver Operators. This training consisted of classroom and practical skills totaling 50 hours per member.

Additionally, 8 members completed EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operations Course) training: Alan St. Onge, David Knowles, Ben Hyman, Sean Cooper, Spencer Barnes, Tanner Hoffman, Brian Sibik and Joey Isabel.

The Rollinsford Fire Department consists of all volunteers. To complete their training, members donated additional time beyond regular meetings, monthly training and responding to emergency calls. Chief Rutherford thanks the Select Board and the town for supporting his mission to have a well-trained department.
