Water Update from the Rollinsford Water Department

We have received many calls asking for an update, so here is the latest.
We can report the following at this time.
-Our second round of required sampling has come back clean!
-We have collected several more samples today and will have the results late Thursday 11/20/14.
– The earliest this order could possibly be lifted is Friday, midday. Keep in mind, it might not be lifted at that time and the boil order could very easily extend into the weekend or even longer.
-The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services inspected all of our facilities and reviewed our operations and sampling techniques today and found no deficiencies.
-Answers to frequently asked questions can be found at the NHDES/ Water Division website in the A-Z section.
We will continue with our increased sampling and around the clock monitoring. We are working very closely with the NHDES and outside laboratories to resolve this situation. We hope to have things back to normal as soon as possible. We sincerely appreciate all of the input and patience from the community. When this is over, we will be reviewing this emergency response and making changes if needed. If you have any input on how we could improve, we would love to hear it.
Last but not least, a BIG thank you to the Rollinsford Police Department for making such a large communication possible last night and into this morning. If it were not for their preparedness, the public notifications would have not been nearly as effective.
