RFP Award Announcement

The Select Board is pleased to announce that we have selected Banwell Architects to conduct a space needs assessment for the town government of Rollinsford with emphasis on the Town Hall building and the space needs of the Police Department.

The RFP is a result of the warrant article passed at the March 2014 town meeting that authorized 25K for this activity.

The Board published the RFP at the beginning of September and held a site review for all interested parties on September 16. Many thanks to Jim Jalbert of C&J for providing a van and Mike LaPointe who drove the potential proposers around to the relevant town sites.

The proposals were due on October 3 and we were gratified with the number of responses (8) and were even more pleased at the overall quality of the proposals.   We reviewed them individually and then met on October 14 to deliberate and make the award.

We look forward to working with Banwell and will keep the town posted as to our progress.   There will be at least one public hearing to solicit input from town residents.
