Antique Indian motorcycles will be on view as part of the opening day celebration at the Colonel Paul Wentworth House in Rollinsford on Sunday, June 15. Also, in recognition of the centennial of the start of World War I in the summer of 1914, an exhibit of memorabilia from that conflict will be on display. The Indian Motorcycle Company, founded in Massachusetts in 1901, was a major supplier of motorcycles to the US military during the World War I.
This event is part of the summer programming offered by the Association for Rollinsford Culture and History (ARCH) at the Wentworth House. The Wentworth House is located at 47 Water Street in Rollinsford and will be open on Sundays from 1 to 4 pm during the summer season.
