Important Town Water Notice

BOIL ORDER LIFTED

Customers of Rollinsford Water District were notified on Tuesday November 18 that, due to the presence of E. Coli Bacteria, they should boil their drinking water or use bottled water. We are pleased to report that the problem has been corrected and that it is no longer necessary to boil or use bottled water. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

An investigation has revealed that the sampling station where the positive sample was taken has the potential to harbor bacteria. This may have contaminated the drinking water sample. This sampling station will no longer be used for sampling and will be abandoned.
